Technology Project Manager – Cloud, Integration & Modern Workplace
Permanent, full‑time position
Flexible, hybrid working environment
Lead delivery across cloud, integration and modern workplace platforms at scale
At AustralianSuper, we truly care about our colleagues. We know work and life are intertwined. That’s why we support the diverse needs of everyone and have policies that enable us all to thrive and be truly flexible. We ensure diversity is celebrated for the opportunity it provides us all to learn and grow and deliver better outcomes for members.
Your New Role
Are you a Technology Project Manager who understands how modern cloud and platform ecosystems fit together, and can confidently drive delivery across them?
As a Technology Project Manager, you’ll sit within Technology Services and lead the delivery of complex, cross‑platform initiatives spanning Cloud & Networks, Integration and Modern Workplace. This includes working across Azure environments, integration layers and end‑user platforms to deliver meaningful outcomes for both colleagues and members.
This is not just a coordination role. You’ll need to be technically literate, able to understand architectural patterns and dependencies across platforms, and proactively identify risks across environments, security, and delivery sequencing.
We’re looking for someone who can operate autonomously, take initiative and drive work end‑to‑end, from shaping delivery plans through to execution and adoption. As part of an AI‑first organisation, you’ll also bring curiosity and a mindset focused on continuously improving how delivery is done.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex technology initiatives across cloud, integration and modern workplace platforms
- Manage delivery governance including planning, risks, dependencies, cost, quality and stakeholder engagement
- Manage resourcing, forecasting, and funding models to ensure capacity supports delivery outcomes.
- Own governance and reporting (Steerco, WIP Reports), providing clear visibility of progress, risks, dependencies, and resourcing.
- Translate delivery demand into clear, prioritised backlogs and executable plans aligned to capacity and dependencies
- Identify and manage cross‑platform risks across cloud, networks, integrations and end‑user environments
- Drive Agile delivery practices, including backlog management, sprint reviews and stakeholder showcases
- Ensure successful delivery outcomes through strong coordination of stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience delivering complex technology projects in large, cross‑functional environments
- Strong understanding of modern technology ecosystems, including:
- Azure cloud platforms (IaaS / PaaS concepts, networking, monitoring)
- Integration patterns (APIs, event‑driven, synchronous vs asynchronous)
- Modern workplace and end‑user platforms (Microsoft 365, devices, identity)
- Ability to understand and manage cross‑platform dependencies, risks and delivery sequencing
- Experience working with Agile delivery models, including Scrum, SAFe or Disciplined Agile
- Familiarity with DevOps and delivery tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub and Atlassian tools
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence across business, technology and vendor teams
- Understanding of ITIL concepts including incident management, resilience and operational readiness
- A proactive, curious mindset with the ability to challenge, improve and continuously optimise delivery approaches
