The Opportunity

Our Lysaght business has an opportunity available for an Operations Team Member (Day Shift) to join the Production team based in Archerfield, QLD. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

This role is full-time and permanent, offering a competitive weekly rate, eligibility for overtime, and a quarterly performance bonus. Your starting weekly rate will range from $1,128.22 to $1,218.66 and will increase as you learn and develop in the role in line with our structured level system. Day shift is paid at the standard rate. Public holidays are paid.

Day Shift hours:

Monday to Thursday, 5:40am – 2:00pm

Friday, 4:50am – 11:00am

Responsibilities or duties

In this role, you will be part of the team producing our high-quality steel products, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail to ensure only the finest quality is delivered – on time, every time.

Your day-to-day work can include:

  • supporting and promoting a safe working environment
  • operating machinery to process and manufacture our products
  • operating equipment such as forklift and cranes
  • packing, strapping, and monitoring products to ensure quality control

Some positions may involve lifting and manual handling, as well as exposure to noise. We ensure that all our employees are supported with the necessary training, guidance, and equipment to complete all tasks safely.
