About the role

The Systems Administrator supports the IT manager and works collaboratively with CHN staff and the IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) to maintain secure, efficient, and fit-for-purpose systems and technology environments. This newly created position is critical to keeping CHN business operations running smoothly by ensuring the reliability and performance of critical systems across a complex, health focused environment. This includes administering, troubleshooting and optimising a wide range of business applications and data platforms, such as Salesforce and SharePoint, as well as specialised health data storage and analytics platforms, including Primary Health Insights and POLAR. The successful candidate will play a central role in supporting CHN’s digital capability, ensuring staff have dependable access to the tools and information they need to deliver high quality services to the community focused environment.

About the team

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will join the Corporate Services Unit (CSU) that sits within the broader Office of CEO Business Unit. CSU serves as a central point of expertise and support for the organisation, bringing together a range of key professional services including Office Coordination, Finance and Procurement, Human Resources, Business and Data Analysis, Quality and Compliance, Risk and IT.

Your working knowledge of data governance, retention requirements, and cyber security principles will be instrumental in ensuring our systems remain secure, compliant and aligned with CHN business needs and strategies priorities. You will help enhance the efficiency and reliability of CHN’s systems, strengthening collaboration across teams and supporting the successful delivery of CHN’s primary health care programs.
