ABOUT THE ROLE

The Student Support Officer plays a key role in delivering high-quality, student-centred support services across the student lifecycle. This position ensures a positive student experience by providing timely assistance, supporting enrolment processes, monitoring academic progress, and contributing to a welcoming and professional learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end student support from initial enquiry through to ongoing academic assistance
  • Manage and respond to student enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with online and face-to-face enrolments and onboarding processes
  • Monitor student attendance and academic progress, escalating concerns where required
  • Prepare and deliver student orientation sessions
  • Maintain a professional and supportive learning environment
  • Perform general administrative and customer service tasks to support Student Services operations

Qualifications and experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative or student support role within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general administrative systems
  • A proactive, adaptable, and student-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence
