About the role:

As a Student Recruitment & Engagement Lead, you'll play a key role in recruiting and engaging with students of RACGP's GP training programs. As the first point of contact for medical students and prevocational doctors, you'll be a confident and approachable brand ambassador, using your expertise to case manage aspiring GPs toward the training pathway that best suits their goals. Your strong relationship management and business development skills will empower you to provide tailored support and build strong connections across the medical community.

This is a permanent, part-time 0.5 position working 19 hours per week.

As our Student Recruitment & Engagement Lead, you'll also:

  • Build and nurture relationships with regional stakeholders, hospitals, universities, and prospective GPs
  • Develop and deliver regional engagement activities aligned with national plans
  • Organise and support GP training promotional events, webinars, and regional presentations
  • Case manage prospective GPs through to conversion
  • Maintain regional leads databases, track engagement, and provide regular updates and reports

  • Strong customer centric mindset
  • Highly developed communications skills including exceptional verbal and written skills
  • Strong project/event management and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage competing demands and work well under pressure
