Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Storeperson to take ownership of site stores on our Scotia Project near Norseman. This is a high‑trust role for someone who knows their way around mining consumables, isn’t afraid of responsibility, and takes pride in running a tight ship.
No two days are the same, but you’ll be expected to keep everything moving, clean, compliant and accounted for.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving, issuing, picking and packing stock
- Running daily cycle counts and managing inventory accuracy
- Loading/unloading freight safely and efficiently
- Managing all internal and external stock movements
- Maintaining stores integrity, security and housekeeping
- Managing mining consumables to sustainable levels
- Supporting site with deliveries and town pick‑ups as required
- Participating in pre‑starts, toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Conducting pre‑start checks, TTTCs and THAs
- Ensuring DG storage, CoR compliance and correct segregation
Qualifications
- Previous stores experience in mining or heavy industry
- Manual C Class Driver’s Licence.
- Strong Excel & Word skills
- Certificate III in Supply Chain / Warehousing (or higher)
- Solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
- Dangerous Goods storage knowledge or formal training
- First Aid & CPR
- Current Working at Heights
- National Police Clearance
