About us
Auger Supplies WA is a small, family-run business servicing farmers and agricultural businesses throughout Western Australia. We specialise in grain augers and associated steel products and operate from modern, well-located premises in Forrestdale with ample on-site parking.
We are seeking a reliable, motivated Storeperson to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis.
About the role
This full-time role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring all stock is accurately stored and readily available for distribution.
What you'll be doing:
- Receiving, unpacking and processing all incoming deliveries
- Accurately storing stock in designated locations using appropriate equipment
- Picking and packing orders on wooden skids that you will make
- Dispatching customer orders (mostly 3 metre lengths or longer) quickly and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent English communication skills
- Basic carpentry and steel cutting skills. Basic welding skills would be an advantage but not necessary
- An understanding of entry level computer systems. Candidate may be required to book in jobs online and write emails to organise freight pickups.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
- Forklift LF license and experience with long (ugly) loads.
- Manual Drivers Licence preferred, for collection of goods using work vehicle
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects off the floor
- Ability to work independently
