We’re seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson / Delivery Offsider to join a busy Manufacturing, warehouse and distribution team based in Port Macquarie. This is a Monday to Friday, Temp to Perm role offering a consistent schedule, a balanced workload, and a clear path to permanent employment.

The Client:

This Port Macquarie based specialist supplies high-quality, custom-made glass, aluminum, and stainless steel products. They focus on safety-compliant solutions for residential and commercial, including frameless pool fencing, balustrades, shower panels, and screening. Offering competitive pricing directly to trade and DIY customers, they feature durable, tailored, and locally sourced materials. Services include custom, high-strength, heat-toughened panels.

What you'll be doing:

As a Store Person you will complete a mix of Warehouse pick packing, forklift operating and local off siding delivery driving work. Your main product lines are across Glass, aluminium and steel panels, Your duties will include:

• Operating counterbalance forklifts (LF ticket required)
• Moving palletised stock from production areas to despatch
• Loading and unloading of trucks
• Raising Pallets to 4 racks high
• Manual picking of orders using paper pick slips (no RF scanners)
• Palletising stock
• General warehouse cleaning up of wrapping rubbish and discarding product boxes
• Re stacking pallets
• Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs
• Matching paper work to customer orders
• Checking final paperwork against orders going out
• Delivery Off siding duties around the Newcastle area
• Working alongside a delivery driver to manually load/unload deliveries
• Delivery runs are mostly local metro (some up to 1 hour away)
• Delivering and picking up products such as Glass, Aluminium, Timber frames with product lengths up to 6 metres long
• Manual Power tool work
• Operating Power drills, hand drills and screwdrivers to construct Crates to cover palletised stock and build frames around large pallets

What you’ll need to succeed:

You will have previous Store Person, pick packing and Counterbalance forklift operating experience. Your experience will also include:

• Valid LF Forklift license
• Counter Balance forklift operating experience
• Experience loading and unloading trucks
• Previous delivery off siding experience is advantageous
• Pick packing experience (No RF scanning required)
• Experience palletising stock
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Shrink wrapping experience
• Be Physically fit – comfortable with manual handling and working in a team
• Great attitude and reliability
• Previous hand and power tool experience is advantageous
• Willingness to complete off siding work for client order deliveries
