Senior Practice Support Officer - In‑Home Care Scheduling
Are you a master of complex rostering who thrives in fast‑paced environments and cares deeply about patient outcomes? Join Amplar Home & Allied Health in a pivotal role where your scheduling expertise directly supports timely, high‑quality care in the community.
As the Senior Practice Support Officer, you'll be at the heart of operations—coordinating and optimising schedules for community clinicians, supporting frontline teams, and ensuring patients receive the right care at the right time. Partnering closely with your People Leader, Resource Planning Lead and analytics teams, you'll balance operational excellence with continuity of care.
What you'll do
- Lead day‑to‑day scheduling operations, monitoring performance and resolving escalations in real time
- Create and optimise rosters and schedules aligned to demand, geography and contractual requirements
- Support onboarding, training and coaching of Practice Support Officers
- Use data and insights to drive smarter resourcing decisions, including internal vs brokered services
- Champion best‑practice scheduling, governance, and continuous improvement
- Communicate confidently with patients, referrers and stakeholders to deliver an exceptional experience
What you'll bring
- 3+ years' experience in large‑scale workforce planning/rostering
- Advanced Excel skills (Access/SQL advantageous) and strong analytical capability
- A proactive, resilient, can‑do mindset with excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to coach others, manage competing priorities and influence stakeholders
