Global Property Service Provider is seeking a Senior Occupancy Planner for a fixed-term contract.
Our client is a leading Global Commercial Property and Investment management company. The organisation provides end-to-end real estate services including leasing, property and facility management, project and development services, capital markets advisory, workplace strategy, and investment management. They are currently seeking a Senior Occupancy Planner to lead the team on a fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities or duties
In this position, you’ll provide strategic expertise in occupancy planning, ensuring space supply meets evolving business demand. Using a deep understanding of federal government property requirements, utilisation, and forecasting, you’ll develop scenario plans, guide portfolio discussions, and support long‑term workplace strategy.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders, applying analytical insight, and driving planning outcomes that maximise space efficiency and support an enhanced workplace experience.
- Build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to gather forecasts and support planning decisions
- Oversee a team leading space utilisation, ensuring adherence to workplace standards, policies, and planning principles.
- Prepare and present reporting on space capacity, utilisation, and seat demand, reconciling top‑down and bottom‑up forecasts.
- Act as a subject-matter expert on workplace programs, using data to inform planning recommendations.
Qualifications or requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a client focus and excellent relationship management skills, including ease of interaction with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities, including comfort engaging with executive‑level leaders.
- Have natural leadership ability to guide and lead a small team
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and skilled at managing competing priorities.
Experience needed
Qualifications in Real Estate, Architecture, Design, or a related discipline (preferred).

Fixed term contract to October 2026, possible extension or future opportunities
Play a key role in supporting a major Australian Government Department in their strategic property direction.
Lead and develop a small team, drive collaboration and deliver results.
