About the Role:
We are now seeking a Senior Manager People, Systems & Improvement to join our Brisbane team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive BUMA Australia’s remuneration, performance, HR systems and governance frameworks, while leading strategic improvement initiatives that strengthen compliance, enhance employee experience and support business performance across a growing multi-site operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead remuneration and benefits frameworks, including benchmarking, banding and annual remuneration review processes
- Drive performance management cycles, goal-setting processes and alignment between performance outcomes and reward
- Oversee HR systems, reporting and data governance, including system enhancements and enterprise adoption initiatives
- Lead the simplification and governance of People and Culture policies, standards, procedures and templates
- Deliver strategic HR improvement projects from planning through to implementation and benefits realisation
- Provide expert advice to senior leaders on remuneration, governance, systems and performance matters
- Lead and develop the Apprentice Coordinator and Talent team, providing direction, coaching and support to deliver high-quality workforce and talent outcomes
- Build capability across the function and support apprentice, graduate and entry pathway program delivery
- Lead the adoption of AI across HR, identifying best-practice applications, implementing fit-for-purpose solutions and establishing governance to improve efficiency, insight and employee experience
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related discipline
- Previous experience in HR Business partnership or comparable experience in a collaborative management role
- Demonstratable experience in remuneration, benefits and performance frameworks
- Proven success leading annual remuneration reviews and incentive programs
- Demonstrated experience overseeing HR systems, data governance and reporting environments
- Strong capability in developing and embedding governance frameworks, policies and standards
- Well-developed commercial, analytical and strategic project delivery capability
- Strategic understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes, with demonstrated insight into graduate and early careers program design, delivery and optimisation
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and partner at executive level
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, practical outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience in a multi-site, operational or industrial environment will be highly regarded
