About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Lecturer who will demonstrate leadership and excellence in research, teaching, and professional services within the academic discipline. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating curriculum development, research activities, and providing expertise in lecturing, tutorials, and clinical placements. Additionally, contribute to academic and administrative functions across the academic scope. Candidates are expected to make significant contributions to scholarship, research, and professional activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Undertake teaching and assessment of postgraduate students.
• Undertake scholarship and research activities.
• Provide input into the development of new teaching resources.
• Supervise students undertaking projects.
• Participate in team projects and various committees as required.
• Refer students to personal and academic support services relevant to their needs.
• Monitor learning and identify students requiring support.
• Attendance at IHM meetings as required.

Essential Criteria:

• A doctoral qualification in Nursing and registration as a Nurse through AHPRA.
• A distinguished track record of research excellence.
• Mandatory teaching experience in Australia.
• Exemplary teaching practice and leadership, evidenced by student engagement, innovative curriculum development, and formal recognition for teaching excellence.
• Strong leadership qualities that contribute to a positive academic environment and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Advance HE Fellowship is desirable.
• Teaching or Clinical experience in Australia in a relevant discipline.
• Relevant experience in curriculum quality and reviews in a tertiary environment is desirable.
