About the Opportunity

An established Loan Market brokerage in Mirrabooka is entering its next phase of growth and is seeking a Sales & Operations Manager to drive performance, streamline operations, and scale the business.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role where you will act as the engine room of the business overseeing brokers, managing pipeline activity, and ensuring the entire operation runs efficiently.

You won't be writing loans. Instead, your focus will be on growing the business, improving systems, and elevating team performance.

The Role

This position operates as Sales / Operations Lead, taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the brokerage and freeing up leadership to focus on high-value activity.

  • Managing broker performance, pipeline, and deal flow
  • Driving business growth through referral partnerships and lead generation
  • Overseeing marketing initiatives and pipeline development
  • Managing internal workflow, processes, and team productivity
  • Supporting and coordinating brokers, CSMs, and credit staff
  • Identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable systems
  • Focusing on increasing settlements and overall business output
  • Strong referral network and consistent inbound opportunities
  • Operating across two office locations

This is a well-established, high-performing business with strong foundations and clear growth ambitions.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in mortgage broking, lending, or finance leadership
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in mortgage broking, lending, or finance leadership is required
  • Strong understanding of broker workflows, credit, and pipeline management
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance
  • Experience leading a team of 2-3 people is required
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on growth and efficiency
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Someone who enjoys building structure, improving systems, and scaling a business
  • Australian citizenship is required for this position
  • Certificate or Diploma qualification is required
