About the role..
As a Remedial Massage Therapist working from a private treatment room within a gym environment, you’ll have the chance to provide personalised therapeutic massage treatments that target specific health concerns, relieve pain, and boost overall wellness. This role is all about making a real difference in the lives of your clients, helping them feel their best and enjoy a higher quality of life.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing clients' physical conditions to understand their needs and health issues.
- Creating tailored treatment plans that focus on their unique goals and challenges.
- Using your expert massage techniques to melt away tension, relieve pain, and support healing.
- Working autonomously and alongside an awesome team of healthcare professionals to ensure clients get the best care possible!
About you..
We require a skilled Remedial Massage Therapist with a passion for wellbeing and customer experience delivering exceptional care to a diverse range of clients. You enjoy working autonomously and have a talent for addressing each client's unique needs. You are dedicated to continuous learning and professional development which keeps you abreast of the latest practices in remedial massage therapy.
Essential Criteria:
- Diploma or higher qualification in Remedial Massage Therapy.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Proficiency in technology, including computer and data entry skills.
- Experience working autonomously and as part of a team
Desirable Criteria:
- Current registration with a relevant professional association.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience working with a diverse range of clients and conditions.
- Strong collaboration skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with funding body frameworks, relevant service standards, and legislative requirements.
