About the role..

As a Remedial Massage Therapist working from a private treatment room within a gym environment, you’ll have the chance to provide personalised therapeutic massage treatments that target specific health concerns, relieve pain, and boost overall wellness. This role is all about making a real difference in the lives of your clients, helping them feel their best and enjoy a higher quality of life. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing clients' physical conditions to understand their needs and health issues.
• Creating tailored treatment plans that focus on their unique goals and challenges.
• Using your expert massage techniques to melt away tension, relieve pain, and support healing.
• Working autonomously and alongside an awesome team of healthcare professionals to ensure clients get the best care possible!

About you..

We require a skilled Remedial Massage Therapist with a passion for wellbeing and customer experience delivering exceptional care to a diverse range of clients. You enjoy working autonomously and have a talent for addressing each client's unique needs. You are dedicated to continuous learning and professional development which keeps you abreast of the latest practices in remedial massage therapy. 

Essential Criteria:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Remedial Massage Therapy.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality.
• Proficiency in technology, including computer and data entry skills.
• Experience working autonomously and as part of a team

Desirable Criteria:

• Current registration with a relevant professional association.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience working with a diverse range of clients and conditions.
• Strong collaboration skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with funding body frameworks, relevant service standards, and legislative requirements.
