Responsibilities or duties

As a Relationship Executive, you’ll be more than a banker — you’ll be a trusted partner. Your mission is to help Business Banking clients in Newcastle unlock new opportunities, navigate challenges, and achieve their goals.

You’ll have the backing of expert analysts, innovative products, and market-leading technology to help you deliver exceptional outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Build deep, lasting relationships with clients with mid-sized corporate clients and deliver outstanding service.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow your portfolio.
  • Consult closely with clients to understand their needs and collaborate with product specialists to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Use market insights to drive strategy and execute deals, from origination to negotiation.
  • Proactively manage risk across a diversified portfolio, working with analysts to ensure high-quality credit submissions.

Qualifications or requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong commercial acumen and a drive to deepen your financial expertise.
  • Proven experience in Business Banking relationship management.
  • A genuine passion for working closely with clients and a commitment to your regional community.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related fields are desirable.
  • Proven success in building customer portfolios and originating new business.
