Description

Flintwood Disability Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong interest in disability and person-centred care. The Registered Nurse will make a genuine difference within the organisation by supporting participants with complex health needs.

About You

You are a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in disability or community-based healthcare. You are confident working autonomously while also contributing to a multidisciplinary, person-centred team.

You have strong communication skills and enjoy supporting staff to ensure participants receive high-quality and respectful healthcare. Above all, you are committed to safeguarding the rights, wellbeing, and dignity of people with disabilities.

What You Bring

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years post-graduate experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and disability services
  • Experience supporting people with complex health needs, preferably in a community or disability setting
  • Strong documentation, assessment, and care planning skills
  • Confidence in training and supporting staff in healthcare practices and medication administration
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a person-centred team
  • Current driver’s licence
