HammondCare Woy Woy currently needs 2 Registered Nurses to join our team.

We have:

Perm, Part-time 52.5hr PM Roster covering weekdays and

a Casual or Part-time position approximately 30hrs per fortnight covering AM, PM and Nights as required.

About the role:

Our Registered Nurse must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, displaying a level of competence and experience that comes with at least 1 years’ experience.

As the RN, you will be a core member of the residential team and work with both the management of the home and the carers to provide tailored and individualised responsive care for the residents.

Daily role requirments include:

• Advising and supporting the care delivery by the care staff
• Educating and mentoring in clinical areas and processes
• Consultative in case management and clinical decision making.
• Clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse
• Implement and support a resident comfort focus.
• Strong Dementia Care knowledge

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Demonstrate a minimum 1 years’ experience as a registered nurse, working alone and in a team.
• Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts across 7 days.
• Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs.
• Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people & you want to make a difference in their lives.
• Use of medical record systems is a must.
• Experience in a residential setting is highly desirable.
