We are seeking experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to join our growing Aged Care team. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that values respect, dignity and person-centred care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical care and supporting residents to maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
We are currently looking to recruit Night Shift: 10 pm until 6:36 am.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Coordinate and supervise daily clinical care and delivery
- Administer and monitor medications safely and accurately
- Manage residents’ assessments, care plans and documentation
- Monitor infection control practices and clinical compliance
- Manage hospital transfers, admissions and discharge processes
- Liaise with GPs, pharmacies and allied health professionals and families
- Report incidents, emergencies and clinical escalations
- Support and manage care and wellness assistants
- Participate in quality improvement and accreditation activities
- Build positive and sustainable relationships with clients, colleagues and internal and external stakeholders
Requirements for success
- Degree in Nursing with valid AHPRA registration
- Previous experience working in aged care or residential care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and care coordination skills
- Sound understanding of infection control and medication management
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage changing behaviours with compassion and professionalism
- Resilience and ability to work with complex environments
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks, AHPRA, NDIS clearance.
