JOB DETAILS:
Role Overview
Deliver high‑quality midwifery care to women and families at South East Regional Hospital. This role supports antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence‑based, and compassionate maternity services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient‑centred midwifery care across maternity services.
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health teams.
- Monitor maternal and neonatal wellbeing during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
- Educate and support women, families, and carers.
- Ensure compliance with NSW Health policies and standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in clinical practice.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated experience in midwifery practice.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and evidence‑based care.
- Compliance with NSW Health immunisation requirements.
