The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our company’s Warehouse and Distribution functions across Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.
Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, this role will be an integral senior leadership role and will have a team of up to 30 employees. It will also assume the responsibility for overall site management for the combined Distribution and Manufacturing facility in Dandenong South where this role is based.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support operational teams across three states, including goal setting, performance management, recruitment, training, and capability development.
- Maintain strong communication with the General Manager of Operations and foster collaboration across sites.
- Contribute to strategic planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and Senior Leadership Team objectives.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inbound goods, picking/packing, dispatch, and delivery-on-time targets.
- Manage operational budgets, staffing, equipment maintenance, stock control, and supplier performance.
- Implement and enhance lean practices and SOPs to drive safety, efficiency, and productivity.
- Champion WH&S standards by leading safety meetings, ensuring compliance, coordinating emergency procedures, and maintaining safe, clean work environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong Customer Focus
- Demonstrated people and safety leadership experience
- Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) (preferred)
- Intermediate computer skills
- Valid Forklift License – LF
