Company Description
At Healthcare Australia (HCA), we are united by a shared commitment: to connect with and support our community of healthcare professionals and clients. As Australia's largest specialist healthcare workforce provider, we use our digital presence to build our brand, share valuable insights, and foster engagement across the sector. This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to shape the voice of a leading healthcare organisation.
Job Description
Are you a recruitment weapon looking for speed, volume, and real impact?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Rostering and Recruitment Consultant to join our Townsville-based Nursing team and play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless workforce coverage and operational efficiency.
Reporting to the Regional Branch Manager, you will take ownership of your desk, managing priorities independently while collaborating closely with clients and nursing staff. Your focus will be on rostering, filling shifts with urgency and accuracy, nurse recruitment, and ensuring continuity of care across multiple healthcare sites.
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment with constant movement and shifting priorities. You’ll manage inbound and outbound calls daily, respond to urgent requests, and ensure shifts are filled efficiently and compliantly.
To deliver operational excellence, you will also:
- Coordinate and manage high-volume shift requests across multiple healthcare sites
- Source, screen, interview, and engage nursing candidates
- Support onboarding, credentialing, and workforce planning
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls daily
- Support onboarding and recruitment of new nursing staff
Let’s talk about you!
You bring experience in a fast-paced environment, working as a team and building relationships with clients and workforce, and you thrive in environments where multitasking and prioritisation are essential.
You have confidence managing daily call volumes, strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills, and a calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure. Experience within healthcare or nursing agency recruitment will be highly regarded.
Bring your energy and be rewarded with:
- Access to a comprehensive rewards and benefits platform
- A day off on your birthday each year
- Ongoing training and career development opportunities
If you’re looking for a dynamic, fast-paced recruitment and rostering role where you can make a real impact within a nursing workforce team, we’d love to hear from you.
