About the Role
Qantas Airways Limited is seeking a Quality Engineer – Salesforce to join its brand‑new Product Innovation Centre in Adelaide. This role is responsible for ensuring consumer needs are met by embedding robust testing strategies and automation practices that uphold software reliability, performance, and security. The successful candidate will deliver seamless, high‑quality digital experiences that build customer trust and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Qantas’ Salesforce applications and build test automation infrastructure
- Contribute to continuous development of automation scripts and CI infrastructure
- Explore non‑functional testing including accessibility, performance, and security
- Improve testing tools and approaches
- Coordinate with team members to create automated test cases and analyse test failures
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing
Candidate Profile
- 3–6+ years’ experience in Salesforce QA or software testing
- Hands‑on testing experience across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (Experience/Community Cloud desirable)
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform concepts including security, data model, and governor limits
- Experience testing Salesforce integrations (APIs, events, middleware)
- Experience with automation tools such as Provar, Selenium, UFT, UTAM/WebdriverIO
- Manual testing experience across Salesforce flows, validation rules, profiles, permission sets, and custom components
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills (Jira, Confluence, Miro)
- Familiarity with agile delivery environments (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
- Strong defect management skills including triage, prioritisation, and communication
