We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Specialist to support our Vetting operations. This critical role is responsible for conducting thorough Quality Assurance (QA) on security clearance assessments to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency standards and legislative frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake detailed Quality Assurance checks on security clearance assessments prior to submission to AGSVA
  • Ensure all reports meet AGSVA’s integrity, accuracy, and policy compliance requirements
  • Identify and correct inconsistencies or omissions in clearance documentation
  • Support internal teams in maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through timely, high-quality QA reviews
  • Collaborate with Vetting Analysts' (VA) to provide constructive feedback and support quality improvement
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, integrity and discretion in line with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of vetting standards and procedures
  • Maintain a small caseload of case files and;
  • Provide technical guidance to team members

What We’re Looking For

  • Current NV1 clearance (NV2 preferred)
  • Must hold a Cert IV Government Security (Personnel Vetting)
  • Must have QA Experience
  • Strong knowledge of AGSVA’s clearance processes, policies and frameworks
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical, written and communication skills
  • Ability to operate autonomously, manage competing priorities and maintain high-quality outcomes under pressure
  • A commitment to upholding ethical standards, confidentiality and impartiality
