JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking an experienced Production Technician/ Aseptic Filling Operator to support the Banksia Project and transition into full commercial manufacturing of Pre-Filled Syringe (PFS) operations.
This role will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for aseptic filling processes, contributing to project delivery, equipment commissioning, and ongoing GMP manufacturing operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production while working closely with cross-functional teams in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Our facility currently operates on a 24-hour, 5-day (M-F) As a seasonal operation, shift patterns may evolve, and we are seeking operators who are flexible and willing to work across all shifts, including weekends if required. Day Shift: 6:30am – 2:30pm Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm – 10:30pm Night Shift: 10:30pm – 6:30am
Permanent opportunity, multiple positions available.
These roles involve regular manual handling, prolonged periods of standing, and repetitive physical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Commission, qualify and support PFS filling equipment, contributing SME input to processes, SOPs and changes
Perform aseptic filling operations in full compliance with cGMP, safety and quality standards
Deliver validation and manufacturing batches in line with project timelines and production schedules
Drive reliable, efficient production through strict adherence to procedures and continuous improvement
Partner cross-functionally to achieve project milestones and operational targets
Support audit readiness, training and capability uplift within the filling team
Key Experience
Tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Experience in aseptic filling within a cGMP pharmaceutical environment is highly regarded
Strong knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements
Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, ideally for global markets
Proven ability to support audits and provide technical expertise
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and performance
Effective communicator and collaborative team player
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and initiative

Level of Education: bachelor degree
