Our Rental Solutions business unit is a key growth area for EPSA. With a fleet of more than 1,800 units valued at over $180 million, deployed across 11 branches nationally, this division plays a critical role in supporting customers across Australia. As part of our Strategy 29, we are continuing to expand and invest in our rental fleet and technical capability.

We are seeking a Product Support Specialist – Electrical to join our team and provide technical expertise and support across our growing rental fleet.
About the role – you will be:
Based in Mulgrave, this role supports the Rental Assets team by providing technical advice, commissioning support and specialist troubleshooting for power generation and associated equipment across our national fleet.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the selection / specification of new equipment and/or modifications to existing equipment to support fleet asset management.
- Supervising, troubleshooting and monitoring new equipment build up and provide specialist technical support for the Depot, Fleet, Projects and Service Teams.
- Preparing support documentation – including operation and maintenance, service scheduling and fault diagnosis.
- Preparing policies and procedures to add structure to onboarding and training across our tech support to our Depot, Fleet, Projects and Service teams.
- Configuring control systems (e.g. ComAp) and provide support for business activities in controls and monitoring, including onsite.
- Overseeing the migration and integration of fleet assets for remote telemetry, ensuring reliable and consistent data transmission.
- Serving as a subject matter expert, advising sales and operations teams, project managers and engineers on the application, integration and installation or refurbishment of battery energy storage systems, generators, chillers, and HVAC units.
- Providing afterhours support to Branch Manager, technicians and other team members as required.

You are a technically capable electrical professional who enjoys solving problems, sharing knowledge and supporting teams across the business.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Electrical trade qualification or equivalent technical certification
- Experience in power generation, industrial equipment, or energy systems
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
- Experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems
- Knowledge of Australian standards and regulations related to generator systems and electrical installations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and operational teams
- A willingness to travel occasionally and provide on-site support when required
