About the Role
As a Procurement Officer, you will have the responsibility for ensuring seamless procurement operations, SAP master data management, effective supplier relationships, and efficient logistics coordination. You will work closely with internal teams such as Manufacturing, Fulfilment, Finance, and Legal as well as external vendors, to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Some tasks as part of this role include:
Procure to Pay (P2P) Process
- Streamline and automate procurement processes to minimize costs and improve efficiency
- Convert requisitions to purchase orders in line with company policies
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
- Expedite purchase orders and resolve supplier invoice issues
- Communicate purchase order statuses and manage supplier relationships to meet business needs
Logistics Coordination
- Oversee the collection and delivery of containers from global suppliers to the point of consumption
- Collaborate with planning and customer service teams to meet customer demands
- Provide logistics analysis and reporting for imported goods
- Liaise with Customs and freight forwarding agents as required
SAP Master Data Maintenance
- Create and maintain supplier, pricing, and material data
- Manage supplier onboarding process
- Develop efficiency improvements to reduce manual data entry
- Communicate supplier pricing changes across the business
About You
Located in or near Pinkenba
Proficiency in SAP (ECC6 or Hana), MS Excel and Word
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
Ability to work from the Pinkenba office full time – This is not a Work from Home Role

Relevant CIPS certification/s
Successful completion of pre-employment medical
