Description

At Carma, we’re more than just a car company, we’re on a mission to shake up the Australian automotive industry! As a digital pre-owned car dealership, we’re turning the car buying (and selling!) experience into a hassle-free, seamless journey that customers can truly enjoy. With our diverse and collaborative team managing everything from engineering to marketing and buying to reconditioning in-house, we’re powered by the best people and we’d love for you to come along for the ride!

As a Pricing Analyst, you’ll sit at the heart of our buying team, helping us price vehicles accurately, competitively, and in a way that supports great customer outcomes and smart business decisions. You’ll combine data, systems and a sharp eye for detail to review vehicle valuations, support retail pricing, and track market trends. This role plays a key part in making sure we purchase the right cars, at the right price.

What you'll be doing:

  • Review and fine-tune pricing recommendations using machine learning inputs, inspection reports and your own research.
  • Analyse online listings, auction data and internal tools to make confident, data-backed valuation decisions.
  • Support trade-in pricing and collaborate with customer experience teams to ensure fair and accurate offers to customers.
  • Track stock performance and pricing trends, working with the Business Insights and Data teams to ensure we’re buying the right cars, at the right time, for the right price.
  • Use Excel and reporting tools to dig into data, spot irregularities and surface insights.
  • Ensure every valuation reflects the true condition and value of each vehicle.
  • Help improve internal processes and support the broader buying team where needed.
  • Jump into ad hoc projects as required – we move fast and love curious thinkers.

Okay, let's talk about you:

  • You’ve got at least 3 years experience in valuations, pricing or analytics, ideally in a data-led environment.
  • You’re confident in Excel and comfortable working with large data sets and reporting tools.
  • You bridge the gap between data and the business, communicating insights in a way that’s clear, actionable and relevant to different teams.
  • You’ve got strong attention to detail and a mindset for continuous improvement.
  • You’re flexible, organised and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You enjoy cross-functional teamwork and aren’t afraid to ask questions or speak up.
  • You’re flexible to work across a rotating roster, including weekends.
  • A passion for cars is a bonus!

What's in it for you?

  • Join a collaborative, fast-growing business where you can make a real impact
  • We’re a tech business so you know the drill! A fully stocked kitchen, barista-style coffee, Xbox, pool table, table tennis & more!
  • Hybrid work is available after the initial training period.
  • We wouldn’t be a car business if we didn’t give you some $$ off our Carma cars, parts and NRMA cover.
  • #LI-MG1
