In this role, you'll:
- Lead preparation of timely and accurate returns and submissions to various Government agencies and internal stakeholders in relation to the Transport portfolio’s capital program performance.
- This role will see you manage coordination and integration of data and information on funding the different investment programs from state, federal and other sources of funding.
- You will build strong stakeholder relationships and drive continuous improvement in reporting and decision‑support processes.
- Manage statutory reporting and federal funding program audit processes, including coordination with external auditors and addressing audit findings or recommendations.
- Support statutory reporting teams within Financial Accounting & Control as required during peak periods.

About you
You bring extensive experience and expertise in portfolio or program performance reporting and operational governance within a large, complex organisation.
You possess strong knowledge of portfolio and program management frameworks, methodologies, and reporting processes. You have a proven ability to deliver accurate, consolidated reports across multiple portfolios and operational areas.
You have led reporting process improvements, systems development, and data‑integration initiatives.
You build strong stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively, using your influence effectively across diverse teams.
You apply high‑level analytical and problem‑solving skills, using data and reporting tools to generate insights that support decision‑making.
You communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms, distilling complex operational and performance information into simple, actionable insights.
You hold a Bachelor qualification in a relevant discipline (Accounting, Business, Economics or Commerce) from anAustralian university or equivalent overseas qualification, extensive and relevant professional experience, and a full member of a recognised professional accounting body.
