The Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Podiatrist to join our dynamic team in Sydney. As a mobile Podiatrist at Healthproof, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals in aged care, disability, and community settings. Your work will directly enhance the quality of life of your clients by helping them maintain foot health, prevent mobility issues, and promote overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive podiatry assessments to identify and address conditions such as diabetes-related foot issues, musculoskeletal conditions, and skin/nail pathologies.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans, including orthotic prescription, routine foot care, and preventative strategies.
- Provide tailored, evidence-based interventions to improve foot health, mobility, and function in various settings such as homes, community centers, and residential care facilities.
- Educate clients and caregivers on foot care management and preventative techniques.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining clear communication with clients, families, and stakeholders to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.
- Travel to client locations within your service area to deliver in-person care and complete necessary documentation.
Ideal candidates will:
- Prefer flexible workloads that can scale up or down.
- Enjoy working across diverse community caseloads (NDIS, aged care, post-surgical).
- Be comfortable traveling to clients’ homes and community settings.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Podiatry
- Current AHPRA registration
- Full Australian work rights
- Valid Australian driver’s license and vehicle
- New graduates and experienced podiatrists encouraged to apply
