The opportunity;
We’re looking for a Physiotherapist to join our fast growing team.
Part time, permanent or casual, based on the Central Coast.
You’ll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, have the opportunity for professional development and an opportunity to have a varied case load with different clients in the residential aged care sector.
About Optimum;
We are a team of 85+ allied health professionals servicing NSW and QLD in residential aged care, home visits, workplace health and 6 of our own clinics and gyms.
Things you will be doing;
- Running group exercise sessions and falls prevention classes
- Assessing residents needs in line with aged care standards and ANACC.
- Post fall intervention and documentation
- Delivery of ANACC Pain management programs which include a combination 1 on 1 treatment, 1 on 1 exercise intervention and group exercise interventions.
- Implementing and upgrading rehabilitation exercise programs
- Communicating with a greater team of allied health professionals and medical practitioners to coordinate effective courses of treatments
- Delivery of manual handling training competencies
Skills needed
- Hold a Physiotherapy degree
- Ideally have prior experience in residential aged care
- Ability to build rapport with our clients and team
- Strong communication skills
- Valid police check or NDIS worker screening check
- Valid drivers licence
