About the role..
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals on their rehabilitation journey? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our dynamic inpatient team in a job share role, backfilling a secondment.
Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you’ll partner closely with clients, their families and community services to deliver goal-focused rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs. This rewarding role offers variety across both individual and group interventions to adults recovering from traumatic brain injury.

Key responsibilities include:
- Provision of high quality, evidence-based physiotherapy interventions based on sound clinical reasoning, following comprehensive assessment.
- Participation in case conferences, goal setting and family meetings.
- Supervision of physiotherapy assistants.
- Clinical handover of case load to job-share colleague.
About you..
We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:
Essential Criteria:
- Current full registration with AHPRA.
- Experience in neurological physiotherapy, working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, including aquatic physiotherapy.
- Experience working with compensable clients and/or knowledge of systems involved.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstration of effective multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Demonstrated evidence of relevant professional development and commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrated excellent time management and self-organisational skills.
- Experience and/or sound knowledge of quality and research activities.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working with adults with traumatic brain injury in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Experience in supervising physiotherapy students.
