About The Role

As a Performance Specialist, you will be responsible for leading initiatives that improve return to work outcomes and overall team performance. You will work closely with Return-to-Work teams across a claim’s lifecycle, providing coaching, insight, and strategic direction to achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes for injured workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive improved return to work outcomes across the portfolio
  • Take ownership of key projects, ensuring delivery and accountability for outcomes
  • Coordinate and lead KPI-related activities to enhance performance
  • Coach and develop Case Managers and Return to Work Specialists on effective return to work strategies
  • Engage with workers, treating health practitioners, and occupational rehabilitation providers to support successful return to work outcomes
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities
  • Identify, design, and implement continuous improvement initiatives

About You

  • Expert knowledge of case management principles and processes, with a strong focus on return-to-work outcomes
  • Proven experience coaching, mentoring, and developing others
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering strong return to work strategies and outcomes
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data and drive performance improvements
  • High level of understanding of Worksafe’s KPI measures and how they influence performance outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
