Responsibilities or duties
- Oversee and support new employee on-boarding to foster positive inductions into our program, enhance employer brand and support organisational goals.
- Follow local HR practices & processes and ensure compliance with local legislation.
- Proactively advise managers and employees on conditions of employment, HR policies and processes.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives with the support of operating leaders.
- Engage, coach, mentor, and support managers, supervisors, and employees to develop great career pathways within an amazing team.
- Help to facilitate people issues as they arise and advise operational leaders in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Work with all levels of employees to develop employee engagement and retention action plans.
- Foster the development of a culture where employees feel cared for, included, respected, and valued, through leading DEI initiatives and projects.
- Proactively identify areas in HR policies and processes to improve efficiency and increase staff motivation and retention.
- Work closely with the wider People Operations team across Asia Pacific on a number of exciting people projects.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Minimum 3 years HR experience in a generalist setting.
- Experience in team development / LMS.
- Demonstrable experience in driving employee engagement.
- High level proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Experience with and understanding of local employment law and legislation in Australia.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and leaders.
- Ability to work in a team and influence across job functions and company levels.
- Passionate about the employee experience and environment.

- Monday to Friday roster.
