About the Role:

The Parts Interpreter is responsible for the interpretation and supply of parts to external customers. The successful candidate will also be required to assist both the Sales and Service teams by procuring and providing pricing, parts and technical assistance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Parts interpreting for a variety of machines including Forklifts, Skid Steer Loaders, Tow Tugs, EWP’s, Excavators, Sweeper/scrubbers
  • Providing pricing, parts & technical assistance to the sales & service teams
  • Handling customer enquiries, identifying parts and dispatching in a timely manner
  • Following up outstanding quotations and purchase orders
  • Servicing the technicians’ parts requests as required
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with parts interpreting and parts EPC systems.
  • An understanding of the material handling industry (desirable)
  • ERP System experience (Movex or SAP) desirable; together with intermediate PC skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to analyse data
  • Ability to be proactive
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to liaise with customers and staff at all levels.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Automotive Sales (desirable)
  • Good knowledge of automotive parts (desirable)
  • Previous experience as a parts interpreter within the material handling industry or similar (desirable)
  • Previous experience with M3 (or SAP similar)systems
