ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a 12-month fixed term (full-time) position. The successful candidate will be primarily based at West Perth Campus, reporting to the Dean – VET. In this role, you will lead the development, management, and growth of strategic partnerships with corporate clients, educational institutions, and other external stakeholders. The position is responsible for strengthening existing partnership arrangements to ensure they remain effective, compliant, and mutually beneficial, while working closely with the Industry Engagement & Partnership Manager on identifying and securing new partnership opportunities that align with the College’s strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Management

  • Manage and oversee third-party partnership agreements with corporate clients and educational institutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partner organisations, maintaining strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Ensure partnership obligations, service levels, and deliverables are met in line with contractual and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders to support partnership delivery (e.g. operations, compliance, education delivery teams).
  • Monitor partner performance, identify risks or issues, and implement improvement strategies.
  • Prepare partnership reports, updates, and performance insights for senior management.
  • Plan ad structure programs in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to meet organisational objectives
  • Develop tailored partnership proposals that align to organisational capability in accordance to partner requirements.
  • Work closely with the Industry Engagement and Corporate Partnership Manager to identify, scope, and pursue new partnership opportunities with schools, employers, industry bodies, and corporate clients.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing client partnerships to support growth objectives.
  • Proactively identify tender opportunities and lead the preparation and submissions of competitive tenders.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, school forums, and networking opportunities.

Strategy and Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the development of the organisation’s partnership and engagement strategy.
  • Identify trends and opportunities within education, training, and workforce development sectors.
  • Continuously review partnership models to improve efficiency, value, and outcomes for all parties.
  • Support innovation in partnership delivery models, including pilot programs and new service offerings.

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure all partnerships operate in accordance with relevant regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate partnership documentation, agreements, and records.
  • Support audits, reviews, and reporting requirements related to third-party arrangements.

Qualifications and experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Leadership or a related field.
  • Experience within vocational education and training (VET), education, or workforce development sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in partnership management, business development, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working with schools, education providers, or corporate clients.
  • Experience developing and implementing partnership strategies.

Personal Attributes

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners.
  • Understanding of contractual and compliance frameworks relating to third-party arrangements.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple partnerships and priorities simultaneously.
  • High level of organisational, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • Problem solves using sound judgment and standard procedures.
