CSC Group is one of Queensland’s largest multi-sport community clubs, operating four licensed clubs, six sporting clubs and supporting multiple other sporting clubs, community groups and individuals every year. Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a well-rounded, hands on, Operations Manager to join our North Lakes Sports Club. Reporting to the Club Manager, the role is a full-time position with excellent long term career development opportunities.

About the role:

The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Club Manager by overseeing the daily management of the club. This role focuses on ensuring smooth operations, excellent service delivery, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Operations Manager manages all facets of operations which includes but is not limited to food and beverage services, gaming, events, and facilities management, while fostering a welcoming and safe environment for members, guests, and team members. This role is a hands on role, which requires the Operations Manager to be highly present on the floor to lead, develop and motivate our people.

About you:

Proven experience in operations management within a licensed club, hospitality, or similar environment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Comprehensive knowledge of liquor licensing, gaming regulations, and workplace health and safety requirements.

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.

Experience in event management or coordinating promotions within a club environment.

Familiarity with point-of-sale, gaming systems, and other club-related technologies.

Availability to work 'hospitality hours', including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Qualifications/Licences:

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG)

Food Safety Certificate

Liquor Approved Manager

Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV)

Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) and

First Aid, Mental Health First Aid and CPR
