The Business

It’s Simple Finance is one of Sydney’s fastest-growing mortgage brokerages, helping clients navigate the borrowing process across residential, investment, construction, and commercial finance. With access to more than 40 banks and lenders, they’re built around one thing: clear, client-first advice that takes the complexity out of lending.

The team of around 10 specialists operates from Sydney CBD and has been nationally recognised for excellence — holding the MFAA Customer Service Award (2025) and an Excellence Award nomination for Brokerage of the Year.

They’re a close-knit, high-performing team that operates at pace. Individual contribution is visible, the culture is collaborative, and the business is growing quickly in both headcount and market presence.

This is a business on the move — literally. They’re relocating to a new dedicated office space in the CBD, and this role has been created to lead that transition and keep the engine running once they’re in.

What’s in It for You

  • $75,000 – $85,000 + super
  • 1 day WFH (Wednesday) + Monday to Friday hours
  • A genuine seat at the table — not a peripheral support role
  • Work directly with the Founder & Director and senior leadership team
  • Be part of something growing — join at an exciting moment in the business’s journey
  • Nationally award-winning brokerage with a strong team culture

About the Role

As Office Manager, you’ll be the operational backbone of It’s Simple Finance — the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes so the broader team can focus on what they do best.

You’ll start by leading the business’s relocation to their new CBD office — coordinating the transition, managing vendors, and making sure the new space is set up and ready to go from day one. Once in, you’ll own the day-to-day running of the office and provide executive support to Founder & Director Joseph Daoud and the senior leadership team.

This role suits someone who takes ownership without being asked, communicates with confidence at all levels, and genuinely takes pride in running a tight ship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational transition to the new CBD office, coordinating vendors, IT setup, and fit-out logistics
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the office — presentation, supplies, facilities, and front-of-office standards
  • Welcome and direct clients and visitors, and triage inbound calls to the main business line
  • Oversee meeting room and podcast studio bookings
  • Coordinate technology setup and equipment allocation for new starters, and manage offboarding for departing team members
  • Manage the calendar, correspondence, and day-to-day admin requirements for the Founder & Director
  • Provide diary management and administrative support to senior leadership
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, and logistics for senior leadership as required

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in an office management, EA, or senior administrative role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — polished, professional, and confident
  • Proven experience managing executive diaries, correspondence, and travel logistics
  • High degree of discretion and professionalism when working alongside senior leadership
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented — someone who identifies and resolves issues before they become problems

You’ll stand out if you have:

  • Experience managing an office relocation or fit-out project
  • Background in mortgage broking, financial services, or professional services
  • Experience supporting a founder or business owner in a fast-growth business
