About the Role
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting the day-to-day administration of our manufacturing operations. You will play a key role in coordinating customer orders, production scheduling, and supplier communication, while ensuring data accuracy across our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Manage and maintain EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transactions with key customers
- Coordinate local and interstate freight bookings
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
- Generate invoices, dispatch paperwork, and shipping documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records within the ERP system
- Handle customer enquiries via phone and email
- Assist with reporting, data entry, and general administrative duties
- Support continuous improvement of administrative and system processes
About You:
- Previous experience in an administrative role within manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or similar ERP systems) (highly regarded)
- Exposure to EDI systems and integration processes (highly regarded)
- Strong Excel skills (data entry, basic formulas, reporting)
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Ability to work unsupervised
Employment Conditions:
- This role is classified under the Clerks - Private Sector Award 2020
- Classification level: Level 3-4 (depending on experience and capability)
- Standard hours: 38 hours per week
