JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Optimum, servicing the Northern Rivers region from our Ballina clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering NDIS and community aged care services across a mixed case load.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional assessments and reports
• Assistive technology assessment and reports
• Provide ongoing therapy for capacity building
• Cognitive assessments
• Deliver paediatric therapy in clinic setting
• Provide in-home services including home modifications and equipment prescription

Skills:

• Ability to build rapport with clients and team members
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Valid police check
• Valid driver’s license

Qualifications:

• Occupational Therapy degree and General AHPRA registration
• OT’s eligible for Limited registration may also apply.

The Opportunity:

• Permanent full-time position available
• Work from clinic with multi-disciplinary team on-site
• External mentoring from experienced Occupational Therapists
• Company cars available for work-related travel
