The Opportunity – Occupational Therapist
We’re seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team, empowering clients to live independently and achieve their goals through personalised, community‑based care.
This is a permanent role offering flexible part‑time or full‑time options, based in Toowoomba, delivering care across the surrounding region. Travel is typically up to one hour, including areas such as Warwick and Dalby, with visits planned efficiently where possible.
You’ll work with Medibank clients across Rehab in the Home (RITH) and Support at Home packages, supported by an experienced and collaborative clinical team.
Responsibilities or duties
What you’ll do
In this rewarding role, you’ll provide high‑quality, client‑centred occupational therapy services, including:
- Delivering services to Support at Home and Home Care Package clients, including home assessments, equipment prescription and home modifications
- Supporting recovery through Medibank’s Rehab in the Home (RITH) program, including post‑orthopaedic surgery care
- Assisting clients following hospital discharge via the After Hospital Home Care (AHHC)
- Delivering community‑based care with travel of up to one hour, including Warwick and Dalby
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
About you
You’re a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist who enjoys working in the community and making a genuine difference.
You’ll bring:
- Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- A client‑centred approach with a strong focus on promoting health, independence and wellbeing
- Experience in community or aged care is highly regarded, however new graduates are welcome to apply
