About the job
Occupational Therapist | Generalist Role | Hervey Bay, QLD
Some roles promise variety. Others promise balance.
This one has been built to actually deliver both.
We're working with a well-established allied health provider across regional Queensland that has created a role where you can work across a genuinely mixed caseload — without feeling stretched or overwhelmed.
This is a position where you can develop as a well-rounded OT, while still having the flexibility to shape your clinical interests over time.
The role
- Generalist caseload across adults and paediatrics
- Mix of clinic-based sessions and community work
- Exposure to NDIS, functional assessments, rehab and ongoing therapy
- Flexibility to gradually focus on areas you enjoy most
What Sets This Role Apart
- A realistic approach to workload and scheduling
- Strong admin systems that support, not slow you down
- A team that is experienced, approachable, and stable
- Autonomy in how you manage your day-to-day work
Who This Would Suit
- An OT who enjoys variety but still values structure
- Someone looking to build broad clinical experience
- Open to early career or experienced clinicians
Essentials
- AHPRA registration
- Driver's licence (for community component)
What's On Offer
- Competitive salary + travel reimbursement
- Flexible working arrangements
- Ongoing professional development support
- A well-established, supportive team environment
