We currently have an opportunity for a National Account Manager to join our team based at Glendenning (hybrid-work available). Reporting to the ANZ Sales Manager, this role will be an integral senior leadership role and will have one direct report (Key Account Coordinator). It will manage a sales portfolio in retail sales across 10 buyers within the Bunnings network and will focus on range and category growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining key relationships at buyer level
  • Performance analysis of range (KPI), identifying opportunity across departments
  • Identifying gaps and newness in market to drive range expansion
  • Specific focus on refreshing ranges and capitalising on opportunities
  • Building communication across all internal channels and those customers facing
  • Maintaining analysis & implementation of range improvement
  • Strengthening relationship planning to ensure customer growth
  • Championing a consumer, customer and company product range mindset
  • Growing and developing the Key Account Coordinator to drive continuous improvement

Skills/Experience

  • A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience working in Account Management in a retail environment
  • Bunnings Account Management is desirable but not essential
  • An ability to develop strong customer relationships and build mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and confident presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen to drive financial results
  • Experience preparing product offers for new range opportunities
  • Intermediate MS Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • People leadership experience: preferred but not essential
