Our client is looking for skilled Mechanical and Electrical Fitters to join the team.
Located at Wulkuraka, you will be part of a team dedicated to transforming the future of transportation.
About Us
Our client, a global leader in transport networks, is seeking skilled professionals to contribute to innovative projects that enhance passenger experiences and promote sustainable mobility. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure and digital mobility systems, including high-speed trains, metros, and trams.
Responsibilities
We’ll look to you for:
- Performing fault diagnosis, identification and rectification on both the electrical and mechanical systems of the vehicle.
- Performing damage and vandalism repairs as required,including data capture and effective use of the SAP/GSI/SES systems.
- Liaising with the Technical Specialists / ISST teams in order to ensure repairs are actioned with no impact to in service performance.
- Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability.
- Performing post work testing and validation as necessary.
- Building positive relationships with drivers and the Operator in order to support a successful fleet operation.
- Updating the Maintenance Management System with all work carried out.
We have a several opportunities available,which will initially be 24 month fulltime contracts, with potential to transition to permanent for the right candidate.
Your Profile
- A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
- The ability work autonomously and work under pressure.
- Ability to participate in a rotating shift roster.
- Rolling Stock experience preferred but not essential to the right candidate
- Cert 3 Engineering - Mechanical (MEM30205/30219)
