Responsibilities

We’ll look to you for:

• Performing fault diagnosis, identification and rectification on both the electrical and mechanical systems of the vehicle.
• Performing damage and vandalism repairs as required,including data capture and effective use of the SAP/GSI/SES systems.
• Liaising with the Technical Specialists / ISST teams in order to ensure repairs are actioned with no impact to in service performance.
• Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability.
• Performing post work testing and validation as necessary.
• Building positive relationships with drivers and the Operator in order to support a successful fleet operation.
• Updating the Maintenance Management System with all work carried out.

We have a several opportunities available,which will initially be 24 month fulltime contracts, with potential to transition to permanent for the right candidate.

Your Profile

• Ability to participate in a rotating shift roster.
• Rolling Stock experience preferred but not essential to the right candidate
• Cert 3 Engineering - Mechanical (MEM30205/30219)
