Marketing Manager – Retirement Living

Closing date Friday, April 24th 5 pm

24-month parental leave contract | Full-time

Sydney CBD | Hybrid working + travel across NSW/ACT

At Uniting, our purpose is simple but powerful: to inspire people, enliven communities and confront injustice.

We’re proud to be a leader in the Retirement Living space, creating thoughtfully designed villages where people can thrive, stay connected and live independently. Our communities are known for their beautiful surroundings, high-quality facilities and a strong sense of belonging.

We’re now looking for a Marketing Manager – Retirement Living to join us on a 24-month parental leave contract, playing a key role in showcasing Uniting’s growing footprint across NSW and the ACT.

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to deliver the marketing strategy and execution for Uniting’s Independent Living and Retirement Living portfolio, supporting a pipeline of exciting new developments.

You’ll partner closely with Property, Sales and Customer teams to bring each village to life, creating compelling campaigns that build awareness, generate leads and guide customers from first enquiry through to move-in.

With regular travel across NSW/ACT, you’ll experience firsthand the communities you’re promoting—helping tell authentic, meaningful stories that resonate with seniors and their families.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing strategies for Retirement Living developments
  • Plan and execute end-to-end campaigns across digital, media, PR and on-site activations
  • Showcase Uniting’s unique offering of beautiful villages with exceptional lifestyle features and facilities
  • Manage customer journeys from first touchpoint through to settlement and move-in
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver high-quality creative and campaigns
  • Use data, insights and market research to optimise performance and inform strategy
  • Support events, village activations and local community engagement initiatives
  • Manage campaign budgets, timelines and reporting

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of proven experience in off-the-plan residential/retirement living sales and/or greenfield masterplan developments.
  • Strong track record delivering end-to-end, multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Ability to translate development milestones into effective marketing activity
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Experience managing long sales cycles and customer nurturing strategies
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on ROI and performance outcomes
  • A passion for creating meaningful customer experiences
  • Flexibility to travel across NSW/ACT as required

About us

Uniting is one of the largest and most diverse not-for-profit organisations in NSW and the ACT. We support people across all stages of life, with a focus on those experiencing disadvantage and vulnerability.

If you’re a strategic and creative marketer who thrives on bringing places to life and connecting people to communities, we’d love to hear from you.
