Background information about the job or company

Based in the Sydney Velocity team, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for executing marketing strategies and delivering end-to-end campaigns, both manual and automated. In this role, you will have the opportunity to specialise in Acquisition & Activation, or Member Growth Journeys within the Velocity portfolio.

Responsibilities or duties

In addition, you will:

  • Execute marketing campaigns and member journeys, focusing on key triggers that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize member experiences and ensure successful campaign outcomes.
  • Work with analytics teams to monitor campaign performance and suggest improvements for future optimisations.
  • Lead the creative process, from briefing and asset development to campaign execution, including EDMs and digital content.
  • Engage with legal and brand teams to secure approvals.
  • Support social media execution and assist in the development of engaging content across platforms.
  • Assist with paid media execution and track results to ensure campaigns are on target.
  • Manage marketing administration tasks, including raising purchase orders, creating presentations, and maintaining campaign documentation.

Qualifications or requirements

You’ll be great in this role if you:

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or related fields.
  • Exposure to digital and direct marketing campaign management is an advantage.
  • Strong ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • A solid understanding of marketing and digital marketing principles.
  • Familiarity with multi-channel marketing and how various channels contribute to the overall funnel.
  • Understanding of email marketing, CRM, and customer lifecycle communications.
  • Awareness of the role of paid media and social media within a multi-channel marketing strategy.
