  • Support the planning and coordination of vessel taskings
  • Liaise with vessel Masters, client representatives, and internal teams to ensure taskings are properly prepared and executed
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance and operational risk management
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures, work instructions and risk assessments
  • Assist with operational planning and tasking development across vessels within the program
  • Support incident investigations and lessons learned processes
  • Provide operational support to resolve day-to-day vessel issues
  • Assist the Operations Manager in ensuring vessels meet operational readiness and asset management requirements
  • Able to work independently and make sound operational decisions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple technical stakeholders and vessel teams
  • Good written communication and ability to develop operational documentation
  • Strong IT Skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and planning tools
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Operations, Maritime Studies, Project Management, or similar (desirable)
  • Senior AMSA Certificate of Competency (Master or Chief Officer), or
  • Royal Australian Navy equivalent experience (CO, XO, PWO, Navigating Officer)
