What you’ll be doing:
Lead people, culture and business operations to support RFS members and deliver strong community‑focused service outcomes for the North Eastern Area Command. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to foster a high-performing, inclusive culture while effectively managing complex workforce matters, business planning and financial responsibilities. A collaborative and solutions-focused professional, you will build strong stakeholder relationships, drive continuous improvement and support sustainable membership and service delivery outcomes.
The role works in collaboration with the Manager Capability, Manager Community Risk and other managers across the business to ensure successful operational outcomes across the Area.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
A strong background in people and business management, ideally within a public sector or emergency service environment
Sound judgement
Strong communication skills
A genuine commitment to supporting volunteers, staff and community outcomes
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
