What’s the role?
As Manager, Finance - Group Reporting & Analytics, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely regulatory reporting for the Westpac Group. You’ll work within the Group Reporting & Analytics team, partnering closely with Finance, business units, and other stakeholders across the bank. Your focus will be on preparing and reviewing regulatory returns, maintaining strong financial and regulatory controls, and providing clear insights that support sound decision‑making.
You’ll also contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and support regulatory and technology change programs, working across multiple priorities in a complex environment.
This role suits someone who is confident operating at senior level, comfortable dealing with scrutiny, and able to translate complex financial and regulatory information into clear, practical insights.
What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Extensive experience in financial services, ideally in banking, with strong exposure to financial and regulatory reporting
- A solid grounding in finance or accounting, with a strong understanding of core financial concepts
- Experience preparing, reviewing, or overseeing regulatory returns and related analysis
- The ability to ensure high standards of accuracy, control, and compliance in reporting
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance, business units, and senior audiences
- Confidence presenting complex financial and regulatory information in a clear and simple way
- Experience working in environments with regulatory change, transformation initiatives, or competing priorities
- CA or CPA qualification is preferred, but not essential if you bring strong, relevant experience
