About the role:
As a Manager, Accounts Payable Operations, you will be responsible for a range of corporate services functions, such as providing strategic and contemporary leadership on a range of accounts payable business management matters, including data management, reporting development and accounts payable system functions.
Your key responsibilities include
- Manage the ongoing operational performance of AP Operations team by developing, implementing, and maintaining workforce and operational business plans
- Provide high quality support and expert advice to ensure the development of a strong client focus on all activities, by establishing collaborative partnerships with a broad range of key stakeholders on accounts payable operational issues, strategies, and activities consistent with the departments business objectives
- Manage the development of effective and informative routine accounts payable performance management reports and dashboards for Management. This includes the provision of accounts payable performance analysis and key performance indicator analysis
- Manage the development and preparation of reports and correspondence and initiate action associated with financial, administrative, human resources and other matters as required by senior management
- Leading and implementing projects as required by the Director, Accounts Payable while demonstrating expertise in project methodology, stakeholder engagement, flexibility in managing workloads, and with a key focus on meeting agreed deadlines
