Aurenne Group Mining is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our Perth-based team. This role is critical in supporting the effective financial management of our mining operations, delivering accurate reporting, cost control and performance insights to support informed decision-making across the business.

Aurenne is a dynamic, privately-owned family company with a successful background in business. As our flagship venture into the mining industry, we bring a fresh and innovative approach, challenging traditional methods while staying grounded in practical, proven strategies for success.

Our core focus is ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our people. We are seeking a reliable, detail-driven Management Accountant who brings a strong work ethic, a collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt in a dynamic mining environment. Why Aurenne?

At Aurenne, flexibility and teamwork are everything. We pride ourselves on a hands-on approach where the owners, leaders, and team members roll up their sleeves and work together. We value smart, cost-effective solutions, but never at the expense of safety or performance.

About the Role

Aurenne Group is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to support our gold mining operations through accurate financial reporting, cost control and performance analysis. This is a hands-on role working closely with both site and corporate teams, ensuring financial data reflects operational reality. You’ll play a key role in forecasting, month-end close, cost tracking and providing insights that support informed, commercial decision-making across the business. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts
  • Maintain gold outturn reporting and gold sales records
  • Handle tax & royalty compliance including Fuel Tax Credits and State/Private royalty reporting in line with regulatory requirements
  • Own monthly reporting for site costs, capital, variances, analysis and commentary.
  • Run stockpiles, mine development, amortisation and depreciation models.
  • Complete ABS and Payment Times reporting
  • Assist with BAS preparation and FBT reviews
  • Respond to Pronto Xi system enquiries
  • Perform mid-month housekeeping in Pronto, including cost reviews and adjustments
  • Review payroll and payment batches for accuracy
  • Prepare operations reports (Form 5s)
  • Improve processes and support finance transformation, system enhancements, and workflow redesign.
  • Support ad-hoc finance and warehouse tasks

This is a permanent, full-time position on 5:2 roster based in Aurenne Group Mining Headquarters Office in West Perth, with free parking on site.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar management accounting role
  • Previous experience within mining or resources
  • Strong experience using Pronto Xi (version 730 or later preferred)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions under pressure
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (particularly Excel)
  • Comfortable working with integrated ERP and reporting systems
  • High integrity and professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Collaborative, people-focused and respectful
  • Organised, proactive and able to work autonomously or as part of a team
